Hammond Lab

The Hammond lab is a research team in the Department of Cell Biology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. We study how one of our bodies’ microscopic but incredibly intricate structures – the cell membrane – function to keep our bodies active, and the ways is which they go wrong in disease.

Explore our site to find out more about what we do, keep up to date with our latest discoveries, and look for opportunities to join our team. We’re still building this site, so please be patient while we squeeze in time to add pages between doing our experiments!
